Lady Gaga Wants To Buy A Castle In The UK

Lady GaGa reportedly wants to buy a castle in Britain.

According to the Daily Record, the Bad Romance singer (who is launching her own fragrances) is considering buying property in Scotland or the North of England – having fallen in love with the country during her recent tour.

“No expense will be spared in her quest to make this dream come true,” said a source to the paper. “It’s her childhood dream and she’s particularly interested in castles in the north of England or Scotland.”

And according to a local estate agent, Gaga’s timing couldn’t be better – as she’s likely to get a good price if she decides on purchasing in Scotland.

“The average time a property is on the market is eight months. That tells us much of the property is overpriced,” he revealed. “The country house market seems completely static. Some prices being asked are what they would have sold for at the peak of the market.”

LADY GAGA SIGNS A DEAL WITH GIORGIO ARMANI

Lady GaGa and Giorgio Armani have formed a multimillion dollar partnership that will involve the legendary designer making the costumes for Gaga’s forthcoming tour in December.

“A huge company like Giorgio Armani has the duty to always be alert to trends and what appeals to young people,” says Roberta Armani, Mr Armani’s niece and head of VIP relations. “It helped to see how the world is through Lady Gaga, the way she uses Facebook and Twitter.”

Although there is still very little information on what the pair’s collaboration will involve, Gaga is the first star that Armani has designed a specific gown for. Celebrities to have previously worn his label have chosen from existing collections.

“It wouldn’t be possible to give Gaga a look from the collection because she wears pieces of art. It’s theatrical,” Roberta tells the Wall Street Journal.

MAROON 5′S ADAM LEVINE TALKS LADY GAGA

Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5 recently spoke about Lady GaGa in an interview with OUT Magazine. Check out the excerpt from the interview below.

Since the last record came out, the musical landscape has changed so much. A name that comes up a lot in the Out studio is Lady Gaga, and I really think she’s changed the musical landscape in a lot of ways — especially in America. But you’re saying that you guys really didn’t take into account what’s trendy or popular and just concentrated on doing what you do?
Gaga is the perfect example because people are definitely saying things like, “changed the face of music” and “avant-garde.” And I love what she does. I love the fact that she exists. It’s almost like, finally there’s a pop star who brings a little bit more weight to it. She’s weird. She’s a weird chick. She does weird shit. She dresses weird. Her music is slightly off. That’s awesome. I think that’s great for pop music because it’s been so safe up to this point, and I like that she’s nude all the time and weird and awesome and cool. Madonna was that way too. I know she gets that comparison a lot, but it’s true. She was pushing the envelope back in the day. She was doing the same thing that Gaga’s doing to a large extent. She has her own spin on it. That’s fantastic. I love subverting the new generation of pop music and all these really safe Disney kids. But no, I’m not going to try to sound like that because that would be weird. That would be even weirder than Lady Gaga herself if we just all of a sudden got really strange — because we’re not, that’s just not who we are. But she’s great, and there are very few things these days that are truly innovative and forward-thinking or at least different. Goddamn, everything’s just so generic. I like things that shake shit up.

NE-YO INTERESTED IN GAGA COLLABORATION

Ne-Yo says making music with Lady Gaga would be “intriguing”.

The R star has collaborated with some of the music industry’s most talented women, including Rihanna and Beyoncé Knowles, although his latest goal is to work with Lady Gaga.

The singer says he isn’t entirely sure what their duet would sound like though, as she is better known for dance music and he prefers hip-hop beats.

“I have no idea! That’s kind of the intriguing thing that I have no idea what that song would sound like,” he told MTV.

“Like, would I jump into her world? Would I pull her into mine?”

Ne-Yo says that whatever ends up happening, the result will be very interesting, and he even suggested a television company film the pair as they make a hit together because he thinks it would make compelling viewing.

“I don’t know, but I feel like it would be interesting to see. Maybe we should get a camera crew over when that happens,” he pondered.

Ne-Yo has been in touch with the pop star’s management, although he says it can be difficult speaking to Lady Gaga herself as she’s so busy working all the time.

“We’ve been talking to Gaga’s people about some stuff,” he explained.

“Gaga’s very difficult to get a hold of as of late, for obvious reasons. She’s very busy. We’ve been talking to her people about doing some stuff.”
