Demos from Lady Gaga’s early days will be up for bid in a new online auction, alongside handwritten lyrics, clothing and various ephemera from the likes of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Bob Dylan and Michael Jackson.

It’s all part of an expansive collection going under the gavel as the Rock & Roll Pop Culture Auction, starting on Wednesday at And for Gaga completists, there’s plenty to get excited about.

In total, six CDs of early recordings will be up for auction, including a pair of demo discs from her first days as Lady Gaga. One, from 2006 and complete with a handwritten track listing, features six songs (“Wonderful,” “Retrosexual,” “Rock Show,” “Spin You Around,” “Yay Ha” and “Oh Well”) and was donated by her then-manager Bob Leone. The second disc, also from ’06, is a single version of the song “Wonderful.”

The four other albums in the auction feature music recorded by Gaga when she was still going by her real name, Stefani Germanotta, and include a CDR (labeled “Stefani Germanotta, 2001″) with four songs, and three albums: Stefani, Red And Blue; Stefani Germanotta; and Words, which is credited to the “Stefani Germanotta Band.” A performance DVD, shot at the Cutting Room in New York, is also up for bid.

Bidding on all six CDs will start at $1,000. Two autographed items — an 11-by-14 photograph and a copy of Gaga’s The Fame album — are also up for auction, with opening bids starting at $100. That’s a pretty good deal, especially considering that bidding on a life-size Arnold Schwarzenegger-autographed T-800 prop from “T2: Judgment Day” begins at $79,000. And Arnie has never even had a hit record.

Check out the video above, where Lady GaGa speaks about the overwhelming amount of videos she received from her little monsters in response to the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” law. It’s an amazing showing of how united we are as a fan base. But the fight will not stop here! Keep calling your senators and tell them to vote against “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” so that this disgusting law can finally be eliminated.

Please help support Lady Gaga in the fight against the unconstitutional and discriminatory “Don’t Ask, Don’t Telllaw currently being used against gay and lesbian soldiers in the U.S. military.

Lady Gaga is also asking all of you to create videos talking about your beliefs in equal rights. Tweet them to her, and she will post them all later.

Lady Gaga is set to join the ranks of many other celebrities by creating her own line of fragrances. Women’s Wear Daily announced that Lady Gaga has signed a deal with Coty Inc. Lady Gaga will launch her first fragrance in 2012 and will be the face of the ad campaign.

The Lady Gaga meat dress was one of the over-the-top outfits worn by Lady Gaga who won multiple awards at the MTV Video Music Awards. Gaga’s outfits shocked and even offended some, but Katy Perry is not among that group, as reported at MTV.

Just meat?

Are Lady Gaga’s fashion statements just fashion statements or is Gaga trying to convey something more? The Lady Gaga meat dress was probably the most shocking of the many outfits we’ve seen on the 24-year-old pop sensation. But according to Gaga, the dress was more than just meat. Said Gaga about the Franc Fernandez creation, “It has many interpretations, but for me this evening, it’s ‘If we don’t stand up for what we believe in, we don’t fight for our rights, pretty soon we’re gonna have as much rights as the meat on our bones.’” Lady Gaga, who has been outspoken about her thoughts on gay rights, brought men and women to the MTV Video Music Awards who were discharged from the military due to Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.

Over-the-top but doing it right says Katy Perry

According to Katy Perry, Lady Gaga’s outfits may be shocking, but they’re not just shocking for shocking sake. “The costumes are the bells and whistles and bells and whistles can be really fun, but you have to have the spine, and I think that with Gaga, she’s got the spine and she’s got the costume,” said Perry, who was particularly appreciative of Gaga’s Alexander McQueen dress. “I thought the Alexander McQueen outfit was stunning,” said Perry.

The 25-year-old Katy Perry, herself, has been known to appear in outfits that others may not have the balls to wear. Whether she has fuzzy dice all over her dress, a big picture of Obama plastered on her front or a carousel as a skirt, she has branded herself as the California girl who just wants to have fun. As serious as Lady Gaga wants to be with her Lady Gaga meat dress? No. Katy Perry has never been that deep and doesn’t pretend to be. But at least she sticks to a theme.

Lady GaGa revealed her tattoo while heading into LAX airport in Los Angeles yesterday. As you can clearly see, it is a unicorn with the words “Born This Way” wrapped around it on a scroll. It’s also the name of the new album.

Lady Gaga On The Ellen Degeneres Show

During the new episode of her show, Ellen DeGeneres presented Lady Gaga with a “veggie bikini” as an alternative to the meat dress which Lady Gaga wore at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. Gaga said:

“Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I am the most judgement-free human being on the earth. However, it has many interpretations. For me this evening, if we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights pretty soon, we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat.”
